All we ask is that you do a large number of relatively
small things in your business - but the right things! -
And business improvement will naturally and easily follow
over time.
Green Business Ratings is a 'self-assessment system'. If
you wish to honestly assess your business, you will
receive valuable long term benefit as you strive to
improve against our rigorous benchmarks.
OUR PHILOSOPHY:
All of our improvement programs are based on a very sound
leadership principle created and successfully applied to
many major corporations by GERY HARLOS.

Therefore, all of our improvement processes are designed
to assist Leaders to improve the 'Enabling Conditions'
within their organisations.
PROCESS:
Simply fill out our survey form(s) on line and submit
your assessment to us. Hint - more accurate results &
'ownership' will be obtained if you complete the survey
as a business team.
We then assess your inputs against our One Star to 5 Star
Business Benchmarks. Your assessment is available to you
right away.
You may choose to do this annually, quarterly or even
monthly to measure your progress..
CERTIFICATION:
We can rate and certify each organisation using a
five-star scale for each set of 'enabling conditions' for
SUSTAINABILITY.
5 Stars =
BEST -
Excellent ‘enabling conditions’ for SUSTAINABILITY
are present in this organization.
4 Stars =
RECOMMENDED – A
high level of ‘enabling conditions’ for
SUSTAINABILITY are present in this organization.
3 Stars =
AVERAGE –
Average ‘enabling conditions’ for SUSTAINABILITY are
present in this organization.
2 Stars = BELOW
AVERAGE – A
significant number of enabling conditions for
SUSTAINABILITY are not present in this organization.
1 Star =
POOR – There is
an unacceptable level of enabling conditions for
SUSTAINABILITY in this organization.
SUSTAINABILITY:
From your completed SUSTAINABILITY survey, your
organisation will be benchmarked against a number of
benchmarks which will then be aggregated to an overall
Green Star Rating against the following 'NATURAL STEP"
guidelines:
> Reduced dependence on
mining and fossil fuels - Oil, Gas
> Reduced dependence on persistent, un-natural
substances - Plastic products
> Reduced dependence on nature-consuming activities -
Paper, Water
> Doing more with less - Efficiency
You will
receive immediate feedback on your sustainability rating
and will also receive a free e-book on improving your
business's sustainability.
When you feel that you have achieved a sufficiently high
rating, you can contact greenbusinessratings and apply
for a digitally delivered Green Business Ratings
Certificate, which is an attractive document that can be
color copied by you, framed and displayed in your
business premises. An excellent business can receive a
maximum of a Five Green Star rating.
